We are excited to announce an upcoming addition to the services offered at Willow Wellness Center. We welcome Joyce Cox, MBA, MSN, CNP, OCN, CRNFA to Willow Wellness Bonsai Beauty, LLC.

Joyce has abundant experience as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP). She has practiced as a CNP since 1998 after graduating from Case Western Reserve University. She has an MBA and is also certified in Oncology Nursing, as an Operating Room Nurse, and as a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. She and Dr. Singer completed training in Botox injections and facial fillers in December of 2020 through Medesthetics, Inc. They will be offering Botox and other facial enhancements. Joyce will also be performing in-office excisions of lumps, bumps, and skin cancers. Her experience performing vein procedures and office excisions for many years working with Steven D. Cox, MD, Inc. and The Vein Specialists makes her a perfect fit for Willow Wellness Center.

Joyce is community-minded and serves as Vice President on The Harcum House Child Advocacy Center Board of Directors, Board member of the Mid-Ohio Nurses Association, and as an active member of the Lancaster Kiwanis Club, Charity Newsies, Ohio Nurses Association (ONA), American Nurses Association (ANA) and Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses. She is past president of the Cameo League, past member of the Lancaster Festival Board of Directors and past national president of the Competency and Credentialing Institute Board of Directors. She has served as a delegate to ONA, ANA and Association of PeriOperative Nurses (AORN) conventions. She has published educational articles in journals, a chapter in a nursing surgical textbook and was a contributing author to ANA’s “Scope and Standards of Practice.” Joyce is a two-time award winner of Mid-Ohio District Nurses Association “Expert in Nursing Care” Award; she received ONA’s “Excellence in Political Action” Award and a National award from AORN, “Outstanding Achievement in Public Policy Advocacy” Award. In addition, Joyce was awarded the “Volunteerism” Award from the Fairfield County branch of the American Cancer Society. Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing awarded her the “Circle of Excellence Award” for outstanding contributions in Clinical Practice.

Besides the Bonsai Beauty side of the practice, Joyce is also now seeing urgent – non-emergent visits for Dr. Singer on Thursdays. This will help some of Dr. Singer’s patients avoid going to urgent care or having to wait several weeks to be seen by Dr. Singer.
